For this week, we hit a grab-bag of stuff. But first, here’s the promised pic of Todd and his awesome winter ride!
Don’t worry. Nothing was hurt on the bike!
Here is our discussed “deal” of the week.
And our example of GOOD customer service comes from RatPak Records, publishers of Erik Buell & The Thunderbolts album “Anthem” (along with some EBR stuff.) We talk about the service in the show. This outfit is well worth ordering from. Too bad for me, I’m still listening to my ‘A-HA Greatest Hits’ album….
Go to RatPak Records and buy something. Tell them Chuck from the Wheelnerds sent you. They won’t have any idea what you’re talking about. I’m not good at the marketing thing…
We also answer the first listener mail directly specifically to Chuck. Todd is quite sad about this. What’s he going to do with all those Team Todd shirts now???
If you’re listening to us on Itunes, please write us a review. Preferably a positive one. Even if you hate us. Misery loves company. The Wheelnerds thank you!
As always, you can listen to the episode above or download direct here:

Deal of the week is less than a mile from my house! and i have a big garage filled with Suzukis already! That’s a deal right thar!
I demand more beatbox pr0n music, and more cowbell.
Hey guys, what’s the info on those dry bags you talked about on episode 7?
They are Stoic compression sacks from Backcountry.com. Here’s the direct link to them. We find that the medium sized ones worked quite well in the sidecases on the bikes. I used two bags to hold my tents in one case and another two in the other case held all my clothes and wash kit.
Good episode…I liked the tip on the compression sacks, the brief book/movie review (more would be good as long as it’s not Torque), and the listener mail to CHUCK. I would like to hear more about route 12, and the the fine eatery, Hell’s Backbone, along the way.
Torque is a classic of modern cinema!
